About Us
Our story is one rooted in a deep passion for horology, cultivated over many years and enriched by a journey across different aspects of the watch world. Our founder has called the UK home for well over a decade, and it was here, in 2016, that his fascination with timepieces truly began to blossom. What started as a simple interest soon turned into an obsession, leading to the collection of historical books and contemporary albums dedicated to the art of watchmaking.
This journey initially involved acquiring fundamental pieces from renowned brands like Seiko, Orient, and Casio. However, it wasn't long before the allure of microbrands, particularly British names such as Christopher Ward and Farer, captured his attention. These brands, with their unique designs and commitment to quality, resonated deeply with him, further fueling his love for the niche.
Before the advent of Brexit, our founder was at the helm of a business that catered to watch enthusiasts in Poland, sourcing timepieces from the UK market. Unfortunately, this venture came to an end with the onset of the hard Brexit. But as one chapter closed, another opened. During this time, his passion for microbrands continued to grow, and he began to see not only the potential but also the inherent beauty in Polish microbrands.
In 2024, after establishing connections with several Polish microbrand owners, he made the bold decision to represent these small yet mighty brands on British shores. Our mission is to bring the innovation, craftsmanship, and unique stories of these Polish microbrands to the discerning watch enthusiasts of the UK. We believe that these brands, with their rich heritage and forward-thinking designs, have the potential to make a significant impact on the watch community here.
At MicroExpress, we are proud to be the bridge between these exceptional Polish microbrands and the UK market, offering timepieces that are not just tools for telling time, but expressions of art, history, and passion.
